An International Riders Licence allows overseas riders who are not members of BMX New Zealand (BMXNZ) to enter events within New Zealand.
Riders will fall under one of the four licence types below.
In order for your BMXNZ licence to be processed, you are required to attach proof of your current and valid home country Licence or UCI Licence as noted per each licence type.
IMPORTANT NOTE - ALL riders MUST have medical insurance to cover them while racing & third party liability cover. BMXNZ does not provide any insurance to cover any riders medical costs.

1 - AUSTRALIAN RIDERS
Open to all current CHALLENGE CLASS licensed riders of AUScycling. BMXNZ and AUScycling have a reciprocal agreement to allow members to ride between countries.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Current AUScycling licence.

2 - OFFSHORE NEW ZEALAND RIDERS
Open to all offshore New Zealand citizens with a current challenge class licence from around the world, for short term racing back in New Zealand (except the BMXNZ Nationals). New Zealand Citizens seeking to enter and race at the BMXNZ Nationals, must join a BMXNZ affiliated Club & acquire a BMXNZ licence through said club.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Current licence of your ex-pat country.

3 - ALL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS RIDERS OF ANY NATION
Open to all current UCI championship class licenced riders,
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Current UCI licence.
COST: Free
4 - OTHER INTERNATIONAL RIDERS
For ALL other challenge class riders who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Current and Valid Licence from your home country.
