These awards are presented annually at the BMXNZ National Championships prizegiving (effective from 2024).
BMXNZ seeks nominations for these awards from the sport in January-February (as advised). The nominations can be submitted by anyone which then are reviewed by the individuals BMX club.
If accepted by the club, the nomination will be considered by the BMXNZ Board.
